Maximum temperature 5 °C. the outlook: Probably remaining largely dry and bright, but chance of cloud and rain affecting the region at times. Relatively mild at first but becoming colder again. Breezy on Wednesday.A northwest-southeast split is likely across the UK for much of the period through to mid-February.
